#107 The Power of Perspective 2 (what you think you know)
Not so long ago, my son gave me a beautiful reminder of how powerful it can be to be seeing things in only one perspective, when literally always, there are other parts, angles and perspectives to a story. When we hear something, when we see something, when we feel something, and when we think something - we think we know. We even KNOW that we know. Cause we know, right!? Well, in today's episode, I share two brilliant stories of how one perspective can give a very interesting, and straight-out incorrect understanding of a situation. Sometimes it's for the better, for good, and sometimes it's for the worse. I think that most of the time, unfortunately, we get stuck on our perspectives in a way that does not make our lives easier or more comfortable. I shared some other stories of the power of perspective in Episode 52, about Karen Fasulo, my speaking coach Roddy Galbraith and his wife Susan, and last but not least, my inspiration Jonathan Pitre "The Butterfly Child" who is in heaven now.
